The Cotswold Way

The Cotswold way is a scenic 102mile(164km) national trail, most commonly walked from Chipping Camden to the City of Bath, taking around 7-12 days to complete.

The trail can be enjoyed in all seasons. However, if you want to enjoy clear views from the Cotswold escarpment, then crisp winter days, autumn and spring may be the best time to visit. Late spring and early summer are great times to see the grasslands in all their glory and the beech woodlands are at their best in spring and autumn. Our busiest months are May and September but we welcome walkers all year round! Booking in advance is highly recommended.

We are located directly on the trail, no extra steps required, around 12 miles from Bath. We have 4 letting rooms, priced reasonably, inclusive of breakfast and all en-suite.

We are currently taking direct bookings via this page, email at thedoginnoldsodbury@gmail.com, or by phone on 01454 312006. Accommodation is limited in and around Old Sodbury, so if you’re looking to be staying right on the trail, this is the place!!
